Alfred Sihwa
Director
Alfred Sihwa works for nature survival, he loves his environment, the animals and the human beings. He is an activist for Animals. He also wants to see human beings treated with dignity with proper human rights. He has passion for all animals. He sits on Coalition for African Animal Welfare Organizations (CAAWO) advisory board, the chairperson for Lupane Youth for Development Trust. Saving as the founding Director for Sibanye Animal Welfare and Conservancy Trust. He is an animal welfare activist that is passionate about changing society’s perception and treatment of animals. A member of the Open Wing Alliance regional representative.
Nkosana Khumalo
Programs Specialist
My name is Nkosana Khumalo and I am the Programs Specialist at Sibanye Animal Welfare and Conservancy Trust. I hold a Masters degree in Applied GIS and Remote Sensing from NUST in Zimbabwe and I am passionate about advancing animal welfare as one of the main focuses of ensuring One Health. I run the organisation's programs which relate to Farmed Animals, with a major focus on Cage-Free Egg Production, and other animal welfare programs related to dogs and working animals.

Born and raised in the vibrant heart of Hwange in Matabeleland North, I was nurtured in a richly multilingual community that sparked my passion for art, writing, research, and learning different ideologies. As a graduate in Language and Communication Studies, my love for writing has only deepened, spanning poetry, novels, plays, and songs. The power of the written word remains a guiding principle for me guided by the saying 'the pen is mightier than the sword.' With a keen interest in reading, I'm particularly drawn to topics on climate change, recognizing the urgent need for awareness and action in our rapidly evolving world.

I am a teacher, studying through University of South Africa with majors in History and Geography. I run humane and conservation classes. I enjoy building positive relationships with students and I believe that it is important to build up trust with learners. Along with my passion for teaching, I am pleased to say that I have great organisational skills, I enjoy working hard as part of a team, I am eager to learn something new each day.

Goodhope Ruswa is an independent consultant who has worked at the Swedish International Development Agency, Swedish Embassy Harare. He also worked at
Konrad Adenauer Foundation (International Development Cooperation
Agency).
Position: Programme Manager.
Managed the Country Programme of the Political Foundation. Projects focused on
governance, democratization, economic development and climate justice.
He holds a bachelor os sociology. A Masters of Economics in Development studies and aster of Arts in Development Management

Amanda Phiri is a Regional Lawyer at the Legal Resources Foundation Trust, a non-governmental organization promoting access to justice and human rights in Zimbabwe. she has a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Master of Laws (Constitutional and Human Rights Law) Bachelor of Social Science Special Honours Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation.
